Using the zip or rar file 1.Download DefAlert.dll 8.00.38
2.Extract DefAlert.dll 8.00.38 from .zip. We recommend that you extract DefAlert.dll 8.00.38 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting DefAlert.dll 8.00.38.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract DefAlert.dll 8.00.38 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place DefAlert.dll 8.00.38 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 DefAlert.dll 8.00.38 and press Enter.
