Using the zip or rar file
1.Download appinfo.dll 6.0.6000.16386
2.Extract appinfo.dll 6.0.6000.16386 from .zip. We recommend that you extract appinfo.dll 6.0.6000.16386 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting appinfo.dll 6.0.6000.16386.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract appinfo.dll 6.0.6000.16386 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place appinfo.dll 6.0.6000.16386 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 appinfo.dll 6.0.6000.16386 and press Enter.
