Using the zip or rar file
1.Download ACTRES.DLL 4.0.0.90
2.Extract ACTRES.DLL 4.0.0.90 from .zip. We recommend that you extract ACTRES.DLL 4.0.0.90 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting ACTRES.DLL 4.0.0.90.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract ACTRES.DLL 4.0.0.90 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place ACTRES.DLL 4.0.0.90 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 ACTRES.DLL 4.0.0.90 and press Enter.
