Using the zip or rar file 1.Download AM7040C.DLL 7.0.23.501
2.Extract AM7040C.DLL 7.0.23.501 from .zip. We recommend that you extract AM7040C.DLL 7.0.23.501 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting AM7040C.DLL 7.0.23.501.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract AM7040C.DLL 7.0.23.501 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place AM7040C.DLL 7.0.23.501 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 AM7040C.DLL 7.0.23.501 and press Enter.
