Using the zip or rar file
1.Download AOLShell.dll 3.0.11.26
2.Extract AOLShell.dll 3.0.11.26 from .zip. We recommend that you extract AOLShell.dll 3.0.11.26 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting AOLShell.dll 3.0.11.26.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract AOLShell.dll 3.0.11.26 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place AOLShell.dll 3.0.11.26 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 AOLShell.dll 3.0.11.26 and press Enter.
