Using the zip or rar file
1.Download AcroIEHelper.ocx 1.0.0.1
2.Extract AcroIEHelper.ocx 1.0.0.1 from .zip. We recommend that you extract AcroIEHelper.ocx 1.0.0.1 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting AcroIEHelper.ocx 1.0.0.1.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract AcroIEHelper.ocx 1.0.0.1 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place AcroIEHelper.ocx 1.0.0.1 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 AcroIEHelper.ocx 1.0.0.1 and press Enter.
