Using the zip or rar file 1.Download adsk42.dll 4.1.2086.0
2.Extract adsk42.dll 4.1.2086.0 from .zip. We recommend that you extract adsk42.dll 4.1.2086.0 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting adsk42.dll 4.1.2086.0.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract adsk42.dll 4.1.2086.0 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place adsk42.dll 4.1.2086.0 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 adsk42.dll 4.1.2086.0 and press Enter.
