Using the zip or rar file
1.Download affymex.dll
2.Extract affymex.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract affymex.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting affymex.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract affymex.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place affymex.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 affymex.dll and press Enter.
