Using the zip or rar file
1.Download asmutils.dll 8.00.4299
2.Extract asmutils.dll 8.00.4299 from .zip. We recommend that you extract asmutils.dll 8.00.4299 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting asmutils.dll 8.00.4299.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract asmutils.dll 8.00.4299 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place asmutils.dll 8.00.4299 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 asmutils.dll 8.00.4299 and press Enter.
