Using the zip or rar file
1.Download avimux.dll
2.Extract avimux.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract avimux.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting avimux.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract avimux.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place avimux.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 avimux.dll and press Enter.
