Using the zip or rar file 1.Download avpinst.dll 11.0.1.400
2.Extract avpinst.dll 11.0.1.400 from .zip. We recommend that you extract avpinst.dll 11.0.1.400 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting avpinst.dll 11.0.1.400.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract avpinst.dll 11.0.1.400 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place avpinst.dll 11.0.1.400 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 avpinst.dll 11.0.1.400 and press Enter.
