Using the zip or rar file
1.Download AcDbPointCloudRes.dll
2.Extract AcDbPointCloudRes.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract AcDbPointCloudRes.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting AcDbPointCloudRes.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract AcDbPointCloudRes.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place AcDbPointCloudRes.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 AcDbPointCloudRes.dll and press Enter.
