Using the zip or rar file
1.Download brandsnres.dll
2.Extract brandsnres.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract brandsnres.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting brandsnres.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract brandsnres.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place brandsnres.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 brandsnres.dll and press Enter.
