Using the zip or rar file
1.Download COMPLUSLM.DLL 8.0.50727.1826
2.Extract COMPLUSLM.DLL 8.0.50727.1826 from .zip. We recommend that you extract COMPLUSLM.DLL 8.0.50727.1826 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting COMPLUSLM.DLL 8.0.50727.1826.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract COMPLUSLM.DLL 8.0.50727.1826 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place COMPLUSLM.DLL 8.0.50727.1826 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 COMPLUSLM.DLL 8.0.50727.1826 and press Enter.
