Using the zip or rar file
1.Download dcap16.dll 4.4.3396
2.Extract dcap16.dll 4.4.3396 from .zip. We recommend that you extract dcap16.dll 4.4.3396 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting dcap16.dll 4.4.3396.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract dcap16.dll 4.4.3396 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place dcap16.dll 4.4.3396 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 dcap16.dll 4.4.3396 and press Enter.
