Using the zip or rar file
1.Download ddraw16.dll 4.07.00.0700
2.Extract ddraw16.dll 4.07.00.0700 from .zip. We recommend that you extract ddraw16.dll 4.07.00.0700 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting ddraw16.dll 4.07.00.0700.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract ddraw16.dll 4.07.00.0700 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place ddraw16.dll 4.07.00.0700 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 ddraw16.dll 4.07.00.0700 and press Enter.
