Using the zip or rar file
1.Download dmconfig.dll
2.Extract dmconfig.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract dmconfig.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting dmconfig.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract dmconfig.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place dmconfig.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 dmconfig.dll and press Enter.
