Using the zip or rar file
1.Download dscancom.dll 13.00.0.36
2.Extract dscancom.dll 13.00.0.36 from .zip. We recommend that you extract dscancom.dll 13.00.0.36 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting dscancom.dll 13.00.0.36.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract dscancom.dll 13.00.0.36 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place dscancom.dll 13.00.0.36 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 dscancom.dll 13.00.0.36 and press Enter.
