Using the zip or rar file
1.Download dxmigr.dll 4.08.00.0400
2.Extract dxmigr.dll 4.08.00.0400 from .zip. We recommend that you extract dxmigr.dll 4.08.00.0400 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting dxmigr.dll 4.08.00.0400.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract dxmigr.dll 4.08.00.0400 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place dxmigr.dll 4.08.00.0400 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 dxmigr.dll 4.08.00.0400 and press Enter.
