Using the zip or rar file
1.Download DSoundDevice.dll
2.Extract DSoundDevice.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract DSoundDevice.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting DSoundDevice.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract DSoundDevice.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place DSoundDevice.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 DSoundDevice.dll and press Enter.
