Using the zip or rar file
1.Download Diablo III Launcher.exe 1.0.0.916
2.Extract Diablo III Launcher.exe 1.0.0.916 from .zip. We recommend that you extract Diablo III Launcher.exe 1.0.0.916 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting Diablo III Launcher.exe 1.0.0.916.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract Diablo III Launcher.exe 1.0.0.916 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place Diablo III Launcher.exe 1.0.0.916 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:

9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 Diablo III Launcher.exe 1.0.0.916 and press Enter.
