Using the zip or rar file
1.Download DiskID.dll
2.Extract DiskID.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract DiskID.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting DiskID.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract DiskID.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place DiskID.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 DiskID.dll and press Enter.
