Using the zip or rar file
1.Download dmfpreference.dll
2.Extract dmfpreference.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract dmfpreference.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting dmfpreference.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract dmfpreference.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place dmfpreference.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 dmfpreference.dll and press Enter.
