Using the zip or rar file
1.Download DVDShell.dll
2.Extract DVDShell.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract DVDShell.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting DVDShell.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract DVDShell.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place DVDShell.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 DVDShell.dll and press Enter.
