Using the zip or rar file
1.Download DeviceUpdateConfig.resources.dll
2.Extract DeviceUpdateConfig.resources.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract DeviceUpdateConfig.resources.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting DeviceUpdateConfig.resources.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract DeviceUpdateConfig.resources.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place DeviceUpdateConfig.resources.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 DeviceUpdateConfig.resources.dll and press Enter.
