Using the zip or rar file
1.Download diskvsd.vxd
2.Extract diskvsd.vxd from .zip. We recommend that you extract diskvsd.vxd to the installation directory of the program that is requesting diskvsd.vxd.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract diskvsd.vxd to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place diskvsd.vxd in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 diskvsd.vxd and press Enter.
