Using the zip or rar file
1.Download drvwq117.vxd
2.Extract drvwq117.vxd from .zip. We recommend that you extract drvwq117.vxd to the installation directory of the program that is requesting drvwq117.vxd.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract drvwq117.vxd to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place drvwq117.vxd in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 drvwq117.vxd and press Enter.
