Using the zip or rar file
1.Download dxshell.dll
2.Extract dxshell.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract dxshell.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting dxshell.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract dxshell.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place dxshell.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 dxshell.dll and press Enter.
