Using the zip or rar file
1.Download ExtendedWindowsControls.dll
2.Extract ExtendedWindowsControls.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract ExtendedWindowsControls.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting ExtendedWindowsControls.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract ExtendedWindowsControls.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place ExtendedWindowsControls.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 ExtendedWindowsControls.dll and press Enter.
