Using the zip or rar file
1.Download exsmime.dll 6.5.7638.1
2.Extract exsmime.dll 6.5.7638.1 from .zip. We recommend that you extract exsmime.dll 6.5.7638.1 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting exsmime.dll 6.5.7638.1.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract exsmime.dll 6.5.7638.1 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place exsmime.dll 6.5.7638.1 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 exsmime.dll 6.5.7638.1 and press Enter.
