Using the zip or rar file
1.Download fte.dll 4.00.491
2.Extract fte.dll 4.00.491 from .zip. We recommend that you extract fte.dll 4.00.491 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting fte.dll 4.00.491.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract fte.dll 4.00.491 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place fte.dll 4.00.491 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 fte.dll 4.00.491 and press Enter.
