Using the zip or rar file
1.Download firewallinstallhelper.dll 1.0.0.0
2.Extract firewallinstallhelper.dll 1.0.0.0 from .zip. We recommend that you extract firewallinstallhelper.dll 1.0.0.0 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting firewallinstallhelper.dll 1.0.0.0.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract firewallinstallhelper.dll 1.0.0.0 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place firewallinstallhelper.dll 1.0.0.0 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 firewallinstallhelper.dll 1.0.0.0 and press Enter.
