Using the zip or rar file
1.Download googleearth.bpl 1.0.0.0
2.Extract googleearth.bpl 1.0.0.0 from .zip. We recommend that you extract googleearth.bpl 1.0.0.0 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting googleearth.bpl 1.0.0.0.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract googleearth.bpl 1.0.0.0 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place googleearth.bpl 1.0.0.0 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 googleearth.bpl 1.0.0.0 and press Enter.
