Using the zip or rar file
1.Download gres40b.dll
2.Extract gres40b.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract gres40b.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting gres40b.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract gres40b.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place gres40b.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 gres40b.dll and press Enter.
