Using the zip or rar file
1.Download gres40e.dll
2.Extract gres40e.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract gres40e.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting gres40e.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract gres40e.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place gres40e.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 gres40e.dll and press Enter.
