Using the zip or rar file
1.Download HomePlugin.dll 2.04.02a
2.Extract HomePlugin.dll 2.04.02a from .zip. We recommend that you extract HomePlugin.dll 2.04.02a to the installation directory of the program that is requesting HomePlugin.dll 2.04.02a.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract HomePlugin.dll 2.04.02a to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place HomePlugin.dll 2.04.02a in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 HomePlugin.dll 2.04.02a and press Enter.
