Using the zip or rar file
1.Download HPFRES50.DLL 0.4.5.0
2.Extract HPFRES50.DLL 0.4.5.0 from .zip. We recommend that you extract HPFRES50.DLL 0.4.5.0 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting HPFRES50.DLL 0.4.5.0.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract HPFRES50.DLL 0.4.5.0 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place HPFRES50.DLL 0.4.5.0 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 HPFRES50.DLL 0.4.5.0 and press Enter.
