Using the zip or rar file
1.Download HPW8svc.dll
2.Extract HPW8svc.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract HPW8svc.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting HPW8svc.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract HPW8svc.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place HPW8svc.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 HPW8svc.dll and press Enter.
