Using the zip or rar file
1.Download xgiinit.dll
2.Extract xgiinit.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract xgiinit.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting xgiinit.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract xgiinit.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place xgiinit.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 xgiinit.dll and press Enter.
