Using the zip or rar file
1.Download xl5icon.dll
2.Extract xl5icon.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract xl5icon.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting xl5icon.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract xl5icon.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place xl5icon.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 xl5icon.dll and press Enter.
