Using the zip or rar file
1.Download xpguif.dll 1.0.0.1
2.Extract xpguif.dll 1.0.0.1 from .zip. We recommend that you extract xpguif.dll 1.0.0.1 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting xpguif.dll 1.0.0.1.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract xpguif.dll 1.0.0.1 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place xpguif.dll 1.0.0.1 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 xpguif.dll 1.0.0.1 and press Enter.
