Using the zip or rar file
1.Download xpinstal.dll 1.8.20061.1023
2.Extract xpinstal.dll 1.8.20061.1023 from .zip. We recommend that you extract xpinstal.dll 1.8.20061.1023 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting xpinstal.dll 1.8.20061.1023.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract xpinstal.dll 1.8.20061.1023 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place xpinstal.dll 1.8.20061.1023 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 xpinstal.dll 1.8.20061.1023 and press Enter.
