Using the zip or rar file
1.Download xpservicelock.dll
2.Extract xpservicelock.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract xpservicelock.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting xpservicelock.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract xpservicelock.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place xpservicelock.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 xpservicelock.dll and press Enter.
