Using the zip or rar file 1.Download HPLJ1020IRes.dll
2.Extract HPLJ1020IRes.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract HPLJ1020IRes.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting HPLJ1020IRes.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract HPLJ1020IRes.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place HPLJ1020IRes.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 HPLJ1020IRes.dll and press Enter.
