Using the zip or rar file
1.Download 3dfxps.dll
2.Extract 3dfxps.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract 3dfxps.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting 3dfxps.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract 3dfxps.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place 3dfxps.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 3dfxps.dll and press Enter.
