Using the zip or rar file
1.Download ADCommonSnapIn.dll
2.Extract ADCommonSnapIn.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract ADCommonSnapIn.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting ADCommonSnapIn.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract ADCommonSnapIn.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place ADCommonSnapIn.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 ADCommonSnapIn.dll and press Enter.
