Using the zip or rar file
1.Download AlteraStorage.dll
2.Extract AlteraStorage.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract AlteraStorage.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting AlteraStorage.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract AlteraStorage.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place AlteraStorage.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 AlteraStorage.dll and press Enter.
