Using the zip or rar file
1.Download asusDetect.dll
2.Extract asusDetect.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract asusDetect.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting asusDetect.dll.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract asusDetect.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place asusDetect.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 asusDetect.dll and press Enter.
