Using the zip or rar file
1.Download idapi01.dll 2.50
2.Extract idapi01.dll 2.50 from .zip. We recommend that you extract idapi01.dll 2.50 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting idapi01.dll 2.50.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract idapi01.dll 2.50 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place idapi01.dll 2.50 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 idapi01.dll 2.50 and press Enter.
