Using the zip or rar file
1.Download owaauth.dll 6.5.7638.1
2.Extract owaauth.dll 6.5.7638.1 from .zip. We recommend that you extract owaauth.dll 6.5.7638.1 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting owaauth.dll 6.5.7638.1.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract owaauth.dll 6.5.7638.1 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place owaauth.dll 6.5.7638.1 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 owaauth.dll 6.5.7638.1 and press Enter.
